The club does not permit motor boats – the sense of peace and tranquility is offset by an active calendar of events, with racing permitted every day throughout the year and club races on Sundays.
This popular and prestigious sailing establishment is fully equipped with the latest facilities and in the summer months, members, friends and family get together to enjoy barbeques on the decking overlooking the 60 acre lake. In 1995 the club won an environmental award for its sensitive restoration work.
